A new display for the Sala Navigare nell’Arte

Just three years after opening, the Sala Navigare nell’Arte is renewing its display and is enhanced by nine new paintings from the Clerici collection that join the Vela e Vapori da Carico (Sailing and Steam Cargo Ships) section.

Before going on display in the museum, the nine works chosen by MuMa director Campodonico were subject to a careful and much-needed restoration by Francesca Poluzzi.

The redesign also includes rearranging the exhibition layout by rotating the works, together with a new display case for a charcoal sketch by Umberto Boccioni.
