Established in 2012 to support people suffering from mental health disorders and their families, Progetto Itaca Milano is an important point of reference, which has grown from the city of Milan to 17 offices throughout the country, providing assistance to over 100 thousand people, with a network of more than 300 active volunteers and about 50 projects already implemented in the area of prevention, training and rehabilitation in a path of care and recovery of well-being, overcoming social stigma and prejudice.
Since 2019, the Fondazione Paolo e Giuliana Clerici has been offering important support to the association, in particular by contributing to the organisation of the annual Milanese fund-raising event ‘Il Bel Viaggio’: a Charity Dinner attended every year by hundreds of guests in the evocative space of HangarBicocca, at the foot of I Sette Palazzi Celesti 2004-2015, the extraordinary permanent installation by Anselm Kiefer.
